BBAW Foundation supports animal health through charitable grants, veterinary-care support for animals in need, and occasional direct-assistance programs conducted in cooperation with animal support charities.
BBAW Foundation was created by Babette Gladstein, VMD, a New York City veterinarian who entered veterinary school later in life and built a career centered on animal rehabilitation and regenerative care. Dr. Gladstein has published in the Journal of Prolotherapy, and her clinical background informs the foundation’s animal-welfare mission.
The foundation uses funds for veterinary care for animals in need, in cooperation with animal support charities; makes grants to recognized §501(c)(3) organizations that provide support for animals; and sporadically arranges its own charitable programs or direct assistance to support animal health. Dr. Gladstein is a donor and volunteer with the Humane Society of New York and may occasionally participate in projects or provide veterinary services in that capacity.

BBAW Foundation supports animal welfare through grants, veterinary-care support, and occasional direct charitable programs designed to help animals in need.
BBAW Foundation is a private foundation and does not actively solicit donations from the general public. Visitors who wish to support animal welfare are encouraged to consider recognized public charities, including the Humane Society of New York and other qualified animal-support organizations.
These examples reflect the kinds of animal-health needs that inform BBAW’s charitable purpose and Dr. Gladstein’s long-standing volunteer and pro bono work.
